About this pujo
Navapalli Puja Samity is the community-led Durga Puja of Pocket 40, Chittaranjan Park, held on the Navapalli grounds at the pocket's Central Park. The Samity marks 34 years in 2026. The run-up to the Pujo is full: sports day, fancy dress, recitation, dance, drawing, a quiz and an Antakshari evening for the neighbourhood, and the Samity's own Navapalli Durga Puja anthem, releasing on 10 October. On Panchami, 15 October, Anandomela opens from 4 PM, with food stalls run by families of the para. Details are from the Samity's official Instagram, @navapallipujasamity.
